Vellum is a daily series of 90-second, fact-checked micro-documentaries about history's greatest power plays — empires, cons, art forgeries and market manias — told as serialized cases that end on cliffhangers.
Is Vellum fact-checked?
Yes. Every case is checked against primary sources such as filings, chronicles and court records before it is produced, and claims that historians dispute are flagged on screen as contested rather than presented as settled fact.
Where can I watch Vellum?
New cases post daily on TikTok (@vellumstory) and Instagram (@vellum.story). A dedicated app is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play; the waitlist at vellumstory.com gets early access, and the first 200 members get 3 months free.
How long is each episode?
About 90 seconds. Cases run in three-part arcs — one part a day — so a full story wraps in three days, and each part still works on its own.
