About Vellum
What is Vellum?
Vellum is a daily series of 90-second micro-documentaries about true stories of power, money and deception. Each episode is a self-contained case with a cold open, an escalation and a cliffhanger cut, built for people who want history that hits like a thriller.
Cases run in three-part arcs: each part stands alone, but ends on an open question the next part answers.
How is Vellum different from other history content?
Every Vellum case is fact-checked against primary sources — filings, chronicles, court records — before it is cut, and contested claims are flagged on screen rather than smoothed over. The stories are real; only the editing borrows from thrillers.
Where most short-form history is trivia, Vellum teaches the underlying play — prestige laundering, ransom pricing, moats of secrecy — so you recognize the same moves running today.
Where can I watch?
New cases post every day on TikTok at @vellumstory and Instagram at @vellum.story. The Vellum app is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play — the waitlist gets every new series first.
